Precision engineering has a long tradition in sunny Baden stretching back to the 19th century. Karsten Herrmann and Heinz Knittel where therefore continuing this long tradition when they established HKM-Messtechnik in Freiburg in 1988. They celebrated their first successes with force transducers based on strain gauges. Today, HKM-Messtechnik is a healthy medium-sized enterprise and a first-rate address in the fields of force measurement and weighing technology. We are passionate about technology and welcome difficult tasks that call for development work. We always aim to achieve optimum solutions tailored to suit the individual requirements of our customers.
